It was 3 degrees below zero when we ate at the golf course so I give this place a break. The waitstaff was fairly attentive and the food was all it was promised to be. Add in the fact that I can get a Fat Tire beer here I will be going back. I ordered the 12 oz Whiskey Steak and was pleased with it. Charred to a perfect medium rare and tender enough. The sauce was a bit overwhelming and I found myelf wishing I had ordered it on the side instead of bathing in it. The jacketed potato was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Well prepared. The salad was a good mix of spinach and lettuce with great toppings. Not your ordinary Iceberg with an onion ring and cherry tomato. The only downfall is that they did not serve Bleu Cheese dressing? Seems odd. A few random observations: 1.) This place has a bit of an identity crisis. The decor is mid to late 80's and could use an update. It is clean, however, and I can overlook wood paneling for great food. 2.) The condiments (sour cream, etc) come in packets. A little buffet-ish. 3.) Fix the identity crisis on the menu. Are you an Italian eatery or a steakhouse? I like variety but it confuses the pallet. The menu doesn't "flow"

Beautiful view outside from the deck - that's all we got to enjoy - sat for 15 min waiting for our server who never appeared ... Food smelled good and everyone else seemed to be enjoying themselves - only the second time in my life I've ever walked out like this.... Couple next to us had no troubles as we watched them get water refilled, finish their dinners and get the check while we sat.

Food is good and the atmosphere is nice. Watch out for the prices on the menu compared to prices on your bill, They dont add up.

First of all, I wasn't expecting much with regard to Italian food. After all, this is Rock Springs - far from a real Italian population and understanding what Italian food is about. The tomato sauce on the spaghetti and meatballs and the cream sauce for the chicken Alfredo were straight from a jar or can (food service). Sorry but not good at all. Fried ravioli had mozzarella inside instead of ricotta. The spinach-artichoke dip had not a hint of artichoke and was loaded with stringy cheese (mozzarella or other). Spinach-artichoke dip is made with mayonnaise and/or sour cream, not mozzarella. The fried mozzarella sticks of course were made with mozzarella. My issue is that these appetizers were all made with mozzarella! As I'm writing this, I'm thinking that 2 starts is too generous, but our waitress was very nice, so I will keep it at two.

I love their Whiskey Chicken Pizza. It's my favorite thing to order and split with my husband. They have an excellent staff and are very timely. I came here on a Saturday night and was told it was almost a two hour wait which was disapointing. I'll be sure to go back on a weekday night.

This place could be so much better. Nearly every table has a nice view of the golf course. The service was average, nothing special, and certainly not polished. The breadsticks are passable, clearly not made on-site. The appetizer menu is all fried food. We had the fried mushrooms, which were gigantic, and again, average. The minestrone soup (in case you're wondering - the salad comes with a myriad of choices for dressings - ranch or Italian) was watery and somewhat flavorless. My husband had the Cowboy Pizza, which was large enough for two, but very reasonably priced. The crust wasn't made on-site, likely a frozen deal. I had the whiskey steak, which was actually quite delicious. The whiskey sauce was tangy and sweet and complimented the steak, which was slightly overdone. Order the jacketed potato - it's a baked potato deep-fried, it's pretty tasty. We skipped dessert because the portion sizes were so huge, we'd had enough. In the impoverished restaurant scene in Rock Springs, I'd be inclined to recommend this restaurant above all others because you'll get a good, hearty meal in a nice setting.

We ordered 2 pizzas, The buffalo chicken and the white pizza. The buffalo pizza was very good, but the white pizza, albeit very unpizza looking, was fantastic. The place is very clean, and has a great view of the golf course. The staff was very friendly . I will defiantly go back my next trip to RS.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
